ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hi, I’m Chelsea Omer, a portrait artist specialising in realistic digital pencil drawings.

After years of creating traditional graphite portraits, I expanded into digital drawing using Procreate on my iPad. Building on the techniques I developed through pencil portraiture, I carefully transform your favourite photographs into detailed, hand-drawn portraits that retain the traditional look of graphite pencil.

100% hand-drawn — no AI used.
Every portrait is created individually by me, with each pencil stroke drawn by hand on my iPad.
These personalised portraits that are perfect for any occasion. Birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, Valentine’s Day, Christmas, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day or simply as a thoughtful surprise. Whether it is a couple, family member, friend or beloved pet, a custom portrait is a meaningful way to celebrate someone special or preserve a memory. 🖤

Each drawing is created with close attention to the features, expressions and small details that make the subject unique. My aim is to turn a photograph you love into a portrait that feels personal and can be cherished for years to come.

Photo Guide
Due to the realistic nature of my drawings, I require a clear, high-quality digital photograph of the person or pet you would like drawn. The finished portrait will only be as detailed as the image provided, so I can only accept commissions with suitable reference photographs.

Tips for choosing a reference photo:
-
You should be able to zoom in on features without them blurring, particularly the eyes, nose and mouth.

-
Make sure the photo is taken in good lighting. Day light often works best. Avoid photos with unwanted shadows.

-
Choose a photo with high contrast. Look for any obvious shadows and highlights in the face as this helps adds depth to the drawing.

-
Please Note: I may be able to combine people or pets from separate photographs into one portrait. For the most natural result, the photographs should have similar lighting, angles and image quality.
